Jávea
Javea town, in Alicante, Spain.
The town is located in the region of La Marina Alta, on the coast of the Alicante province, in Spain.
It has a population of over 34,000 inhabitants, of which 53.1% is of foreign nationality.
The geographical landmark is Cabo de la Nao, which is the part that goes into the sea. The other capes are the “Cabo negro” and “San Martín”. Javea offers sandy beaches such as Arenal beach and rocky coves as the Cabo del Pope, cala de Tango, Cala Blanca, Granadella, Cabo Frances. The river Gorgos crosses the county and flows into the Mediterranean Sea.
The Port has a long tradition of seafaring and fishing still remains one of the sources of income, in part, by the natural harbor located at Cape San Antonio.
